The original Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter, has stated in previous interviews that she supports David E. Kelley's Wonder Woman 2.0 reboot. (She was still mum whether she will have a cameo in the reboot -- but if it happens, that sort of thing would be so tightly under wraps anyway. But fans would love to see Carter as Wonder Woman's mom and I would be totally behind that idea too because it bring the reboot full circle).
But from the recent interview she gave with the Baltimore Sun, she's still talking with Kelley. So anything is possible.
About casting Palicki for the role:
"I think it is an amazing role to play. I know [Adrianne] is going to be really nervous about it, just because you would be. But I have a lot of confidence in David Kelley and what he's going to come up with. David Kelley's so talented, and that's really where it needs to be, is in the writing,"It will be interesting if Carter ended up being a consultant to Kelley working on Wonder Woman, or even wrote or directed some episodes. She probably has amazing insight into the role and that would just be fan heaven!
