2011 Wonder Woman Pilot Screencaps

I was able to get my hands on the pilot and made screencaps using VLC player. There's a download and gallery option. Enjoy!

New Oldish Wonder Woman Pilot Review

I got a tumblr a few weeks ago and started peaking around, seeing what it was capable of.  I started searching for stuff and thought I'd look for 'Wonder Woman'. In the process of searching, I came across an oldish review I'd never seen before with newer screencaps I had also never seen before.

3 Leaked Wonder Woman Clips Available on Youtube!

[CinemaBlend.com] Apparently, 3 Wonder Woman video clips were leaked yesterday on cinemablend.

Wonder Woman Rewrite to Include More Action

[Screenrant.com] is reporting that David E. Kelley is rewriting parts of the script to include more action sequences. Though only a rumor at this point (but if it's true, a rewrite is probably due to the negative fan's reaction of the leaked script).

New Forum Post: About Diana Themyscira

Ever since the casting sheet came out for Wonder Woman and the revelation of a third identity, CEO Diana Themyscira, I wondered how a third identity was going to translate on-screen. Fans immediately hated it but one could also argue, Wonder Woman's had three identities ALL along. But back to Diana T (as I like to call her).

Wonder Woman In Action!!!

It's funny, I had a dream last night about Wonder Woman chasing down some villain and now, we have our first glimpse of her in ACTION! Chasing a villain down in what I assume is Hollywood Boulevard.

First Look at Diana Prince!!

[ComicBookMovie.com] We've seen Wonder Woman's costume but haven't seen her other two personas, Diana Prince and Diana Themyscira. Well, finally, we have our first glimpse of at least one of them. In this case, Diana Prince.

They are watermarked though but hopefully, better HQ pics will surface in the next few days.

TVSquad writer, Maureen Ryan takes a realistic look at Wonder Woman's reboot.  News broke earlier today that Adrianne Palicki will be the next Wonder Woman, but Ryan questions whether this reboot will actually fly.   There's several minuses against this reboot.

Then, there's the three personas/alias Palicki will have to tackle.

She'll be the crime-fighting Wonder Woman, of course, but she'll also play W.W.'s alter ego, corporate executive Diana Themyscira, and Diana's assistant, Diana Prince.

Yup, Diana Prince is Diana Themyscira's assistant.

How this will be pulled off on-screen is another story. Will we actually see Diana T. and Diana P. in the same scenes together, or will Miss. Themyscira simply refer to assistant Diana Prince? I had to read twice to make sure my eyes weren't fooling me on that one.

Is Adrianne Palicki The Right Choice For Wonder Woman? [MTV POLL]

Because reactions to Palicki's casting as Wonder Woman, is mixed, MTV offered a poll.

The "Friday Night Lights" actress was cast as the lead in NBC's upcoming "Wonder Woman" television series this week, making her one of the very short list of actresses to play DC's famous Amazon on the small screen.
But is she right for the role?

Why Adrianne Palicki Was Cast As Wonder Woman

In my previous post, I said Palicki won the role of Wonder Woman because was the only actress invited to test for it.

Well, MTV's short article sheds some light on why she was the only actress considered for the role, and there's a connection to the pilot's director, Jeffrey Reiner. Palicki was on Friday Night Lights, right? Jeffrey Reiner directed Friday Night Lights.  Even though Reiner is only slated so far to direct the pilot episode for Wonder Woman, Reiner might have had some pull with casting for the title role.

But before fans start ranting and dooming the show, the original Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter tweeted her congratulations!

Kelley Finds His Wonder Woman!!

Just one day after the audition video of Tanit Pheonix surfacing auditioning for the lead role in the Wonder Woman reboot, the role is apparently going to actress Adrianne Palicki.

Friday Night Lights star Adrianne Palicki has landed the coveted lead role in the broadcaster’s reboot of the classic 1970s series.

In addition to having won praise for her performance on FNL, Palicki looks, well… spot-on perfect for the part, yes?

Triple Trouble?

This is a very spoilerish article when you consider the time stamp is for Monday, February 14th (Valentine's Day) but it breaks down what we can expect of her character.

First of all, she doesn't have a multiple personality disorder (although from the description of the article, it certainly sounds that way).

According to TV Guide, the series will give Wonder Woman three separate identities. The first will be that of Wonder Woman herself, while the second will be Diana Prince, Wonder Woman's civilian alter ego from the comic books. Meanwhile, the third identity will be that of Diana Themyscira, the CEO of Themyscira Industries.

In addition, Wonder Woman will have a separate love interest for each identity: Henry Demeter, Diana Themyscira's confidante, Ed Indelicato, a man with ties to the police and Steve Trevor, Wonder Woman's boyfriend in the comics.
